TWO-DAY SUMMER TRAINING: RESTORATIVE PRACTICES FOR EDUCATORS
We are excited to let you know about the opening of Pathways to Peace, LLC. Have you struggled with student behaviors and conflict in your school? Are you interested in moving away from a traditional, punitive discipline system towards a more restorative one?
When: June 26-27, 9:00-3:00
Where: Albuquerque, exact location will be sent to registered participants.
Who are my trainers?: Layla Dehaiman and Erin Chavez, two local and experienced educators who have actively implemented Restorative Practices in schools for seven years, and have supported districts, administrators and teachers in adopting a restorative approach.
What will I be learning?: We will cover foundations of restorative practices and we will practice strategies that you can take back to your classroom next school year. Strategies include connection circles and restorative conversations. We will begin to help you plan how to implement it in your classroom, school, or district by engaging in drafting your own action plan for the upcoming school year.
